The 2012 Friends of Freddy Convention
October 26-28, 2012
For our 2012 convention, we're returning to the Catskills, but to a new location. Actually, physically it's where we had the very first Friends of Freddy convention, but it's a whole new establishment.
Additionally, it's the 75th anniversary of the publication of The Clockwork Twin, so we're taking that as a theme for the weekend, and the keynote event will be a radio-play style presentation of the story, as scripted by award-winning playwright (and FoF founder) Dave Carley.* If you fancy yourself a radio star, feel free to contact Dave at .

The 2012 Friends of Freddy convention will take place at the HANAH Mountain Resort and Country Club, Margaretville, NY, located just south of Roxbury NY, where Brooks spent most of the latter part of his life. We fully expect a tour of Roxbury, including the Brooks house and the local library, which has a permanent display dedicated to the Freddy books, to be part of the convention activities.
Registration is free for Friends of Freddy members, $25 to nonmembers. However, registration includes a two-year US membership in the Friends of Freddy, a $25 value.

Attendees will stay at the HANAH Mountain Resort, Margaretville, NY, which will also host most of the activities. (Carpooling will be available to any activities held elsewhere.). The Resort will charge $115 per adult per night for Friday and Saturday night, and $80 for Sunday night. Prices include dinner and breakfast. There is a single supplement of $20 per night.
